Accommodation for 36 across 7 bedrooms in bunkroom style bedrooms and an additional room which can be converted in a bedroom for a further 6 people on sofa bed style beds.
We are proud to have Green Tourism Silver Award - our heat and hot water supply is powered by an airsource heat pump and we are on a purely renewable energy electricity tarrif. We use eco cleaning products and have over 40 green inititiatives active including identifying birds, insects flora, fauna, types of clouds often seen or heard around the Centre or observed from the panoramic Ibbett room looking out over the Great River Ouse.
Groups have use of the BBQ and campfire in the Centre gardens and a playing field perfect for rounders or football (all on request please). A games or media pack can be added (as addtional extras) to your stay.
The Centre is very accessible being all on one level, with doorways and corridors designed to be wheelchair friendly.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans to feed up to 40, cultery and crockery to feed 40. The main hall can be arranged to be a dining hall, however there is flexibility for it to be a play area or communal area depending on how you'd like to set it up.
In the village of Carlton there are two pubs: The Royal Oak and The Fox, both do food at various times, both within walking distance, 500m and 800m respectively. The village shop and post office serves local, chees and milk, papers and fresh produce (orders can be taken for your stay).
