Students can practice a variety of fieldwork skills to widen their experience of working in the field. Data can be collected to cover specification linked content including; carbon storage and sequestration in woodlands, microclimates, drainage basin processes, air and water pollution. Each is set up to follow the fieldwork enquiry process including hypothesis testing and sampling. Resources provided on pdf include an advisory risk assessment, site choice and walking route information and student fieldwork booklet.
This activity is self-led.
The total programme costs £50 for self-led, which can be supported with an optional, up to an hour long, briefing with a Chellington tutor to help you deliver these activities.
Alternatively, these activities can be led by a Chellington tutor (subject to availability) for £150 per 2-hour session (materials included).
